Lubbers Family Farm
Lubbers Family Farm is a family owned grass based farm dedicated to healthful, flavorful, traditional foods. We raise beef, lamb and turkey on pastures that are treated with compost--NO pesticides, herbicides or synthetic fertilizers.
The cows and lambs are fed only grass--rotationally grazed on pasture in summer and hay in winter--NO grains. The turkeys are also rotationally grazed and, not being ruminants, are also offered organic grains. Antibiotics, growth hormones or synthetic chemicals of any kind are never used.
Our meats are sold directly to our customers through an annual newsletter. Call or e-mail us to get on the mailing list.
We also have a bakery on the farm owned by our son. His ingredients are local, organic and of the highest quality. He uses the old world art of fermentation, yielding breads that are delicious, healthful and digestible. His baker is called the Little Rooster Bread Company. He can be reached by calling 616-735-3805 or email him at info@littlerooster.net.
