Harvest Beer Festival at Detroit’s Eastern Market
From the Great Lakes Gazette.
Raise a glass to homegrown brew during Detroit Beer Week, which kicked off October 16 and comes to a head with the Harvest Beer Festival at Detroit’s Eastern Market from 1-6 p.m., Saturday, October 24.
The inaugural event, sponsored by Michigan Brewers Guild and metrotimes, will feature nearly 200 craft beers of 3 dozen breweries that are located across the state, from the Motor City to Copper Country. A handful of Detroit restaurants will sell beer-compatible foods, and two bands will provide music to sip and sample by. It’s outdoors, rain or shine, near Eastern Market’s Shed 5.
