Covenant House Michigan, based in Detroit, actively rescues homeless youth, ages 13-22, throughout the entire state of Michigan and provides shelter, clothing, education, medical check-ups, counseling, unconditional love and hope to young people. Established in 2002, the Metro Detroit Police & Fire Pipes & Drums band's purpose is to honor our fallen brothers and sisters killed in the line of duty. The band will be available free of charge to the family and requesting agency for any in line duty deaths throughout the State of Michigan. The current roster consists of 15 members who are all sworn Police Officers and Firefighters. The Metro Detroit Police & Fire Pipes & Drums is a 501c-3 non profit organization.
