As the country celebrates the end-of-summer Labor Day weekend, many American workers don't have much to celebrate. This Labor Day, 14.9 million Americans are unemployed. Another 26 million are under-employed. The unemployment rate hovers near 10 percent and long-term unemployment is the worse it's been since the 1930s.
