Court hearing scheduled in Detroit review case regarding Michigan's Open Meetings Act
The lawsuit was filed by Robert Davis, a Highland Park school board member and union staff representative with AFSCME Council 25. He claims the Detroit review team has violated the Open Meetings Act by meeting in "secret." A similar suit related to the appointment of an emergency manager in Highland Park schools could be settled at the same time.
